Set in the historic Burtown House & Gardens, a 1710 Quaker house which has never been sold, and is lived in by the Fennell family, with 10 acres of flower, woodland and kitchen gardens. The Green Barn is a large authentic Scandinavian inspired Irish farm to fork restaurant on the walls of the historic kitchen garden, with almost all of it produce being grown onsite. We work with the seasons, allowing nature to dictate what we eat. This is a weekend retreat based around wellness and healthy, fun living, where you will learn the ethos of growing your own food with organic principles, guided and solo walks through gardens, with time to relax and read, with yoga, meditation and with delicious tasting menus using the bounty of the garden and farmland.
