There is something wonderfully relaxed about Friday evenings at Burtown in the warmer months — long evenings in the gardens, cocktails on the terrace, and plates designed for sharing.
We are delighted to announce the return of Friday Night Tapas at The Green Barn at Burtown House & Gardens.
Served from 6pm every Friday evening, our tapas menu is built around seasonal ingredients, garden produce, and a more informal style of dining that encourages people to slow down and settle in for the evening. Expect a changing selection of small plates inspired by Mediterranean flavours, alongside botanical cocktails, carefully selected wines, and the warm atmosphere of The Green Barn and Pantry as the sun begins to set over the gardens.
Friday Night Tapas is designed to feel social, relaxed and atmospheric — whether joining us for a casual evening with friends, pre-dinner drinks beside the firepit, or a longer evening moving between the terrace, Pantry and restaurant spaces. Many of the ingredients continue to come directly from our kitchen gardens and polytunnels, with the menu evolving through the season depending on what is growing and at its best.
Guests are welcome to arrive early to enjoy the gardens and sculpture park before dinner, making it an ideal way to begin the weekend at Burtown.
