The Burtown Christmas Market

Christmas begins at Burtown with a two-day market in our newly completed Stream Barn, bringing together a carefully curated collection of independent makers, designers, food producers and small businesses for a festive weekend across the estate.
Following the success of last year’s Christmas Market, this year we are expanding the event over two days and moving it into the Stream Barn for the first time.
The Green Barn, The Burtown Shop and the wider estate will all be dressed for Christmas, with seasonal food, drinks, music and plenty of reasons to stay a little longer.

A Christmas Weekend at Burtown
This year’s market will mark the beginning of Christmas at Burtown.
We will be transforming the Stream Barn, Green Barn, Shop and grounds with Christmas trees, foliage, lights and seasonal decoration, creating a warm and atmospheric setting for the weekend.
The market itself will feature a selected group of independent businesses offering a mix of gifts, interiors, food, fashion, jewellery, ceramics, skincare, art, homewares and other carefully chosen products.
We want the market to remain beautifully edited rather than overcrowded, giving visitors time to browse and giving each stallholder the opportunity to properly showcase what they do.
Food & Drinks
There will be plenty to eat and drink throughout the weekend.
Inside the Stream Barn we will be serving a simple seasonal menu designed especially for the market, alongside coffee, sweet treats and festive drinks from the bar.
Expect warming food, mulled wine, hot drinks, bubbles, wine, beer and a small selection of Christmas cocktails.
The Green Barn will also remain open during the weekend, serving brunch and lunch for those wishing to make a longer day of their visit.
Advance restaurant booking is strongly recommended.
