At Burtown, our food offering follows the natural rhythm of the week, allowing our kitchen to focus on seasonality, quality and a warm, generous style of hospitality.
Midweek (Wednesday – Friday)
We offer a relaxed, à la carte menu designed for ease and enjoyment — ideal for garden visits, informal lunches and catching up with friends. For parties of 8 or more we offer our seaonal set menu.
For those wishing for a speedier dining experience should you have limited time, such as taking a break from your office, please let us know in advance and your dining experrience will be prioritized witin our kitchen.
Weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Weekend dining has a more considered pace. Brunch is served Friday - Sunday, while lunch is offered on Saturday & Sunday as a seasonal three-course set menu, allowing our kitchen team to deliver a consistent and thoughtful dining experience during our busiest services.
Evening Dining
On Friday and Saturday night with a refined à la carte menu shaped by the seasons. This is our most considered dining experience, designed for lingering evenings and special occasions.
This weekly rhythm allows us to focus on what we do best: seasonal food, calm service and a sense of occasion — all within the setting of the Burtown estate.

Brunch is served Friday to Sunday 9:00 - 11:30 (November - March, excluding December) and Wednesday - Sunday 9:00 - 11:30 (April - October)

Our lunch menus celebrates simple, seasonal food served in a warm and informal setting. Head Chef Sylvain’s cooking highlights fresh local produce and garden-led ingredients, creating dishes that feel both nourishing and refined. Whether you’re joining us for a long lunch or something more spontaneous, lunchtime at The Green Barn is designed to feel easy, welcoming and unhurried.

Dinner
On Friday and Saturday evenings, The Green Barn transforms into an intimate dining room offering thoughtful, seasonal cooking led by Head Chef Sylvain. Our dinner menu celebrates the very best of Irish produce, with ingredients drawn from our gardens, farm and trusted local suppliers, carefully composed into dishes that are both elegant and comforting.
This is relaxed, unrushed evening dining — perfect for lingering over good food, wine and conversation.

We love to host weddings here at Burtown, we will get creative with you, pairing our historic setting with a contemporary twist, beautiful gardens and superb, freshly-picked food straight from the garden. Almost all our produce is grown organically in the gardens here at Burtown. We only ever use free range chicken, wild seafood and the finest Irish beef. We are passionate about what you eat and so your menu will be based on our seasonal organic produce. We have a really great wine menu, and can design a bar for your special night.
We are passionate about our wines and we work closely with our suppliers to source wines that we can stand by. We source wines that compliment our produce and menus. As a restaurant we only stock wine that are produced by small batch winemakers using, when possible, organic grapes and sustainable methods. We hope you enjoy our wine list as much as we do.
