The Green Barn combines large open spaces with high ceilings and expansive wall spaces with movable panelled partitions making it a truly versatile space that can cater for large corporate groups or smaller intimate family and friends annual gatherings. Our rustic wood interiors alongside an abundance of Christmas lights and candle lights creates a cosy and unique festive setting creating a memorable experience for your entire group.
Christmas Decoration
When you arrive at The Green Barn, you can expect a large giant Christmas wreath above our welcoming bench that all sits below our three giant metal lights in the entrance hall. The surrounding gardens will be lit with fairy lights and plants will be illuminated by solo powered torches. Expect an amazing array of vegetation from our gardens from dried flowers to large snow painted branches, everything is home-made and from the surrounding landscape, this in itself creates a unique setting for your Christmas dining experience. Outside you will find large fire pits and many lanterns that lead you through our terraced gardens and inspiring garden tent. Depending on the day and the weather will determine the visual narrative that will unfold for your visit.
Christmas Menus
Our head chef Sylvain and his team have created some beautiful lunch and dinner menus that are inspired by our historic kitchen garden and polytunnels utilising the very best of our winter produce. You can expect deep flavoursome dishes that take their flavours from the harvest of the day. Our wine list has a range of red and white wines to suit all tastes and budgets. Christmas menus are available from Wednesday 4th December.
