Culture Night / Weekend at Burtown
On Saturday 21st September at 12.00pm there will be a free tour of the gardens. At 3.00pm Eileen MacDonagh will give a walk and talk about her stone sculpture which is set in the meadow walks.
Sunday 22nd September at 12.00 pm there will be a free tour of the gardens. At 3.00pm Eileen MacDonagh will give a walk and talk about her stone sculpture which is set in the meadow walks and at 4.00pm Turtle Bunbury co-author of the Vanishing Ireland series of books will give a walk and talk through the Vanishing Ireland exhibition. All walks and tours are free events but warrant the normal entrance fee of €6.
We will be closing the gardens for the season this September 30th, but will reopen with great excitement on February 8th 2014 when Spring will surely be in full action. The gardens and gallery cafe will be open every day until February 24th.
