Taste the Island - a day of Wood Fired cooking & eating with Gill Meller and Rodrigo Gonzalez using the bounty of Burtown

As part of the Taste of Ireland Gill Meller will return to The Green Barn to work with head chef Rodrigo Gonzalez and his team of chefs to cook an amazing day of wood fired food. Using only the bounty of the gardens, tunnels & hedge groves with our organic sheep and Dexter cows from our fields, the day will consist of wood fired ovens, pits and spits being used to cook an incredible wood fired feast. Guests will get to walk and talk and taste as the day progresses, whilst visiting the gardens with head grower Dermot Carey. Guests will get to see food growing, food prepping and interact with our chefs as they prepare for a gala evening event. With wood fired pizzas throughout the day, wine tasting, guided garden walks and a full interaction with Gill Meller and our team at The Green Barn this will be a super fun day. Tickets €75pp
